Students will learn about basic anatomic structure and function of body systems, efficient work practices in obtaining adequate and correct blood specimens, labeling specimens, transporting specimens correctly to the appropriate laboratory sections, infection control guidelines and precautions; blood borne diseases.
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a life-saving process that students can learn in CPR or basic life support (BLS) classes. These classes prepare individuals and aspiring emergency medical technicians to deliver timed compressions to a person's chest cavity when that person is in cardiac arrest.

- Students will learn about their duties and the types of patients they will be working with. Students will receive an overview of disabled, convalescent, or elderly patients and their needs. The students will also learn that patient care may also involve performing housekeeping and laundry services, shopping for food, preparing and serving healthy meals and snacks, running errands, providing patients with emotional support, helping with personal care chores such as bathing, dressing, and hygiene.
A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) test preparation course is a specialized training program designed to help individuals prepare for the CNA certification exam. It provides comprehensive instruction and resources to ensure that aspiring CNAs have the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully pass the exam and pursue a career in the healthcare field.
